What Astro does well

A native Mac app

Astro is built for macOS, with keyboard shortcuts such as ⌘K to add keywords.

Your data stays on your Mac

Astro keeps your data in a local database, and its MCP server accepts connections only from your own Mac.

Notes, tags and folders

You can add a note to any keyword, filter keywords with tags, and group apps in folders.

A free version

Astro’s free version tracks up to 10 keywords, without popularity or difficulty, so you can try it before you pay. Asonix has no free plan.

CSV import

Astro imports and exports keywords as CSV files, and can copy keywords from one country to another. Asonix exports CSV files but does not import them.
