About Asonix

Updated

Asonix is a web-based App Store Optimization (ASO) tool that helps iOS developers and app teams get more installs from App Store search.

It shows which keywords people search for, which ones your app can rank for, and which countries can bring more downloads and sales.

What Asonix does

Keyword research

Asonix shows what people search for, how popular each keyword is, how hard it is to rank for, and which apps already rank. The Opportunity score weighs demand against difficulty, so you can find the keywords you can actually rank for.

Keyword relevancy score

Each keyword gets a Relevancy score for how well it fits what your app does. Start with the keywords that score well on both Opportunity and Relevancy.

Keywords your app already ranks for

Your app already shows up in searches you never targeted. Asonix finds them in every country, best rank first.

AI keyword suggestions

Asonix suggests keywords you would not think of, picked for your app and scored by popularity and fit.

Competitor keyword gaps

Find the keywords your competitors rank for and you don’t, and add the ones you’re missing in one click.

Country comparison and translations

Asonix covers all 175 App Store storefronts. It compares search demand, rankings, competitors and ratings by country, so you can see where your app can grow next. Hover a keyword in any language to read it in English, powered by Google Translate.

Rank and chart tracking

Asonix checks your tracked keywords every day in every country you track. It also follows your app’s positions in the App Store charts.

Ratings tracking

Follow your ratings in every country: average rating, rating count, history, and ratings velocity, which is how fast new ratings arrive.

Download and revenue estimates

See last month’s downloads and revenue for any app. The estimates are approximate: use them to compare apps, not as exact figures.

Competitor ads

See which apps run Apple Search Ads on each keyword, in each country, and browse the Meta ads your competitors run.

Metadata Editor

Turn the keywords you found into a stronger App Store listing. Then track how your rankings move after each release.

AI Visibility

Every week, Asonix asks ChatGPT the kinds of questions your users ask. It shows whether ChatGPT recommends your app, which apps it picks instead, and why.

MCP server

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients can use Asonix to research keywords, check rankings and add keywords to your workspace. The MCP setup guide shows how to connect one.

What makes Asonix different

Popularity in every App Store country

Asonix gives keyword popularity for all 175 storefronts, including Serbia and 80+ other countries where Apple Search Ads does not run. In those countries the popularity is an Asonix estimate.

Apple’s own popularity score

Where Apple rates a keyword, Asonix shows Apple’s own Search Ads popularity value, not an estimate. This includes keywords outside the top 500 searches per category, which is all that Apple’s official API returns.

Apple Search Ads intelligence

See which apps run Apple Search Ads on each keyword, in each country, and how often each one appears. The data comes from the ads in App Store search itself.

Competitors’ Meta ads

Browse the ads your competitors run on Facebook and Instagram, by country, and see how long each one has been running. The ads come from Meta’s Ad Library.

AI Visibility included

Asonix shows whether ChatGPT recommends your app and which reasons for recommending it your App Store description is missing.

Works in any browser

Asonix is a web app, so it runs in any browser, including on a phone. Astro, by comparison, runs only as a Mac app. See Asonix vs Astro for the full comparison.

Unlimited for $99/year

Asonix costs $99/year for unlimited apps and unlimited keywords, with every feature included.

  • Indie iOS developers who choose the keywords for their own App Store listing
